Its pretty bad, the first time I head this song I started singing lets dance. It's that obvious it's a rip off. Granted it is a nice sample, the lyrics are good. It's sad that people are just re sampling old beats. We need something different.

Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" came first.

As previously stated, I LOVE this song. I get called a chav all the time because i listen to dance music. My mom and dad are into heavy metal in a big way, they always go and see iron maiden, acdc, metallica etc live all the time, but they are also huge fans of Cascada(they saw them live last year). This just shows that people have different tastes in music and there is no need to critisize other peoples tastes :) Keep doing the amazing work Cascada, 6th December 2009 :P

I'm a hard rock fan, so imagine my surprise when I found myself REALLY liking this track. You know, this is exactly what we should be looking at for the next Eurovision, it'd completely own the voting.

ok fair enough! i'm not the only one who doesn't like this song, which i am allowed to do! usually i'm not biased towards songs whether i like them or not, unlike some! not that my opinion counts any more than anyone else's, so why get so annoyed by me?
i'm called james and i'm 4 on July 10th, 2009
i think you should give a non-biased review and ask readers to write in about thier views. you are a poop and a bum head!!

Evacuate The Dancefloor is fantastic I would say perfect but the rap part is awful is really lets down the song and Cascada. Cascada originally went out to revive dance music and bring in something different from R&B and hip hop. Just take out the rap and the song will be perfect!
WillW on July 8th, 2009
I'm not a chav, I don't wear any chav-type clothes, nor act like a chav ^^, your statement being a sterotypic generalisation. I like many people are into trendy, "in" music and Cascada happens to be just that. So why don't you get your facts straight
WillW on July 8th, 2009
It doesn't matter who recored what before who, it doesn't seem similar to Just Dance at all and they are both two totally different songs with two different meanings. Cascada's albums have been amazing, with Miracle, Everytime We Touch, etc and this new album is like their evolution of their music. I like the rapping part of the song and it stands out and is noticeable but fits in perfectly ^_^. The girl does it good (actually amazing), so just leave her to it! and the song must have been good to have knocked MJ off iTunes number 1 spot. It's refreshing, different and very uplifting like prev noted.

Your all wrong!! Lady GaGa released Just dance in April 2008 which reached number 1 all over the place in summer 2008...austrailia....canada ect!! and cascada made evacuate the dancefloor at the end of 2008 so obviously they saw how well that was doing and made a Rip-off!! if you listen to cascadas new album!! theres no other tracks like evacuate the dancefloor all there oldstyle so it's just pain obvious!!
Brad, Australia on July 7th, 2009
Listen to the background synth sound in both songs. They are almost identical. Then listen to the chorus of both songs, the same drum beat. Cascada ripped off Gaga. Seriously, she lip synced Eveacuate The Dancefloor when she performed it live on GMTV aswel.

Absolute crap

#1! :)

Lady Gaga recorded her album in 2007 and early 2008, releasing it in the states in August 2008. After the release of Just Dance in July 2008, the single became a sleeper hit in the states - taking no less than 6 months to climb to number one. So, if Cascada actually inspired Gaga (which is what the tart is hinting at in the Cackscada interview, saying that Evac was recorded in July '08), then Gaga recorded Just Dance fairly quickly! Cascada verdict: Must not copy other people's work, Must not cheat and Must Try Harder! Peace.

I'm not crazy about this, and I'm a real Cascada fan - I've got the first two albums. Oh and this was recorded before Lady GaGa released Just Dance by the way...
Missy, London on July 5th, 2009
I don't recognise the similarities between Gaga's 'Just Dance' and this song. But I like it nonetheless. And it'd hardly be 'sick' as some commentators say if this song reached number one rather than Michael Jackson - I love his music as much as the next person, but people have all sorts of favourite music styles. It's not obligatory for him to reach number one.

Very uplifting song!
Lauren from Cannock :) on July 4th, 2009
AWESOME!!! Number one please!
QueenofLouth, Manchester on July 4th, 2009
This is such a blatant rip-off of 'Just Dance' that I'm suprised I haven't heard any stories about Cascada being sued by RedOne! It's pretty rubbish and completely unoriginal, yet I actually like the melody! Also looks like it may over-take MJ in at the top of the charts this sunday, so i'm guessing there will be a few unhappy people!!
Kate, Manchester on July 4th, 2009
If this dross gets to #1 ahead of michael jackson, ill scream. it's a shame just seeing a michael jackson re-issue go to waste.
Alison, London on July 3rd, 2009
i thought it was a sugababes song when i first heard it! love it!
Wextor on July 3rd, 2009
Terrible!
Bob on July 3rd, 2009
I love the album! And no, I am not a chav! Her vocal ability is awesome especially in the slow song featured on the album. Also some of the songs are quite good like "fever" and "breathless". Some reviews could be biased as this type of music isn't everyones cup of tea. Sorry but I love it!!!! The album is great.
James, Watford on July 3rd, 2009
blatant rip off of Just Dance, everything about it is so obvious. why do some people even try and deny it? by the looks of it this probably will go to number 1 on sunday, but Cascada must of been very desperate for that, to have gone down this route. they've obviously run out of ideas, they probably realised they weren't good enough to make something original and decent so went and copied a winning formula - and it's a very bad attempt.
T on July 1st, 2009
Terrible. IMO, a load of rubbish... It's not got anything new or different or special about it that would make it worth listening to again. Definitely not number 1 material.
Dave, Derby on July 1st, 2009
What a load of garbage, the song, the video & most of the comments from brainless Chavs who buy this rubbish. Also the Chavs here go on about HER! It's not her! Two DJs/producers are part of Chavcada! This is a total rip-off from Lady GaGa. The auto-tuned lump that fronts Chavcada has got it in her head she's the new Madonna, more like a fatter version of Maradona! World Music Award? Oh yes wasn't if for the "best" German act?
Ben, Witney on June 30th, 2009
The King of Pop has just died And people would rather download this piece of electornic/dance garbage rather than a classic Jackson track. This is sick.
emmaDx on June 30th, 2009
Craig Johnstone...think some one needs to do some research!! lady gaga released "just dance"...April 8 2008...cascada made "evacuate the dancefloor" late 2008...so clearly cascada made arip off... of " just dance" = ]
Jenna, LDN on June 30th, 2009
I love it, can't beat a good pop song. www.myspace.com/jennasound
James, Manchester on June 30th, 2009
Its not a Lady Gaga rip off AT ALL! Its a brilliant song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Craig Johnstone, Scotland on June 29th, 2009
well mister at the end of the day she is the one with the world music award had two sell out tours a number 1 album and christmas top ten album she rages through the charts with every song and for your info evacuate the dance floor was wrote recorded and filmed before lady gaga recorded any music so u might want to think bout that before you slate cascada

perfect for the summer !! Cascada is my favourite artist, i love all her songs especially this one!
Caz, Spennymoor on June 25th, 2009
I think that Evacuate The Dancefloor is a brilliant track and makes everyone want to get up and dance. Also the rapping is very good and it blends in nicely with the dance beat to the song.
Mikes Pearce, Basingstoke on June 24th, 2009
its good and catchy with a great course and rapping at the end which atcully works very good.
Joe, Cardiff on June 24th, 2009
I LOVE this track. Their best release to date by FAR. I can easily see this being number one
DJ Baz, Derby UK on June 24th, 2009
