Pussycat Dolls: 'Hush Hush; Hush Hush'

Sadly, it lacks the feisty R&B edge that made the likes of 'Don't Cha' and 'When I Grow Up' so effective. Instead 'Hush Hush; Hush Hush' is a dated faux-disco mess that's been injected with a ghoulish sample from Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive' in a desperate bid to add some gusto. The result may give a few hen parties reason to hoot, but it rivals Sugababes' 'Girls' in the cringe stakes and has succeeded in eroding much of the group's hard-earned credibility.

I belive I hated Hush4x so much I mean gosh it's so 1980's sooooo last season! it's so gosh not the rest of the pussycat dolls are singing it's only nicole I like the PCD better.
They played this song at my wedding last week and it got loads of people up on the dance floor. I LOVE IT!!!!

Love it! Fun, silly and romping...seen it's effect on dance floors across the country, no-one stays in their seat or stands still for long! It's not supposed to be taken setiously, it's fun, and on that level it more than delivers, Nicole looks hot in her "Diana Ross" isnpired look!

This song IS reasonably catchy, I must say. However, adding the 'I Will Survive' bit, I have no idea what that is about! To me it just confuses the whole song!
The Pussycat Doll's second effort at success has been a mixed bag with nothing quite matching the success of "Don't Cha" apart from the collaboration with A.R Rahman which proved to be a worthy success. This effort is definitely enjoyable and will probably delight fans - it's harmless, camp and catchy but utter trash in it's own right but hey as long as trash can entertain, there's nothing wrong with that.

This song is so under-rated!! I love this song. This song deserves much more than 2 stars in my opinion.
The song is classic PCD however although the up-tempo remix as it is sometimes called is better, the pointless addition of I Will Survive kills the song as that was a classic song being cheapened in a weird way. Defo catchy song but I doubt it will crack the top 10 especially as the MJ effect is in full swing...
What a crap song. A HUGE STEPDOWN FROM JAI HO! This song is not supposed to be a dance song it was beautiful as a ballad but as classic pussycat dolls' style they destroyed every great song they had.
i agree with Nick B, i like this song, it's good enough on it's own for me, but they've just cheapened it by needlessly sampling I Will Survive, to the point that i want to turn it down when it gets to that point.
Normally I'm not a huge fan on The Pussycat Dolls but I thought this was a great party song. With a clever blend in of I Will Survive, which makes the song have a 80's feel! I like this version better than the slow version as this is an awesome summer and party song!
I love Hush Hush - and would give that a 4 star rating. But, by adding the I Will Survive sample to this, they have just makes it tacky. I still like the actual PCD song, even though the tempo has been notched up a bit. It's just those last few minutes...
