Mz Bratt: 'Who Do You Think You Are?'
Tinchy Stryder's one of the breakthrough stars of the year, and Ironik and Chipmunk have both paid visits to the top ten recently, so it's about we got a girl grime-popper to even things up. As if on cue comes Mz Bratt, a 17-year-old MC from East London whose name actually stands for Be Real And Teach The Truth. Well, that's told us.

This spunky debut finds her taking aim at blokes who use their brawn, not their brains, to get her attention. "Who do you think you are, pulling on my hair?" she spits, "Don't even pull my arm - 'cause you'll get air." Her attitude is matched by the music, a poppy, filter-shifty slice of electro-grime that grabs you on the very first listen. She's got the team who took N-Dubz to half a million album sales behind her, so expect to hear lots more from Bratt in the future.
