Pink: 'Funhouse'

Break-up records are funny things. Like vacuuming or playing the drums, the bleak cathartic thrill is often enjoyed solely by the person doing it, with the rest of us swiftly leaving the room for some blessed relief. Thankfully though, the title track and fourth single from last year's Funhouse album finds Pink following the lead of her massive hit 'So What' and leavening the hurt with some funky pop-rock and ridiculously daft rhymes.

Even if you don't laugh at the couplets in the first verse ("This museum full of ash / Once a tickle now a rash"), the chorus ("This used to be a funhouse / But now it's full of evil clowns") should still raise a smile. In the quirky change-of-pace breakdown, Pink sadly swaps the entertainingly gratuitous "f**ker" for "sucker" on the radio edit, but you're still left with the most fun song about arson for quite some time.
