BWO ft. Velvet: 'Right Here Right Now'

BWO's UK chart record to date comprises - we kid you not - a pair of number 69s. It's a statistic to make you snicker for sure, but also one to make you sigh. Last year's Pandemonium compilation housed as many camp, catchy pop delights as Steps ever gave us, so it's a shame that more Brits didn't get chance to hear them.

Now, showing admirable persistence, the Swedish trio are trying their luck over here again. 'Right Here Right Now' features more clubby production tricks than previous offerings and guest vocals from fellow Scando-popper Velvet, but otherwise it's business as usual for BWO. The beats will go down a treat at G-A-Y, the lyrics don't really bear repeating, and the chorus only misses brilliance by a whisker. At the very least, it deserves to spoil the punchline with which we started this review.
