Bananarama: 'Love Comes'
Bananarama have had more lives than a cat – a cat that counts a rabbit's foot, a horseshoe and a four-leaf clover among its possessions. After 2005's Drama stalled at number 169 on the charts, they should probably have been consigned to the eighties nostalgia circuit, but here they are again about to release an album on Fascination Records, home to Girls Aloud and The Saturdays.

Wisely, Sara and Keren haven't tried to muscle in on their labelmates' territory with this comeback single (or, indeed, that coming album). Instead, they've teamed up with old mate Ian Masterson to update their classic late-eighties sound for 2009 - check out those those vocodered "heartbeat-beat-beat-beat"s. 'Love Comes' is sure to sound best of all at G-A-Y, but the thumping great chorus could turn any bedroom into a Hi-NRG disco. It certainly worked on ours.

Emily, your comments are very immature. The band are in their 40s and have not reformed as they never broke up!
