I was very concerned about the video and song at first because men usually think it's all about them. Shakira brings out that women have feelings and when I was younger and thin -I honestly felt this way but never would have admitted it. Now I love it! I look at it as fun now. Her performances on Dancing With The Stars were absolutely AWESOME!

Sure is a catchy song. Didn't like it at first but love it now. Not sure about the video, but you have to allow an artist to follow their own creative path. Boy can she move her bum well ! Undeniable proof there is a God.

I so wanted to slate this song. Yet it has a catchy feel about it and is one of the songs that catches the summer mood perfectly whilst also being a song that gets you up for a jig. But then came the video, all I have to say is god keep your young children away for the televisions. But then again flesh sells!

Shakira has become a fake bimbo and too skinny round the waist. yuk.

Oh Please, this isn't talent. Most women can dance like that. This is just a semi soft porno placed in a music video. Very sad actually. There are more talented people out there, more deserving of recognition. Yeah sure you won't be able to stop looking, well that applies to perverts though. Pervertion is a common thing these days, so it shouldn't hurt your dignity much.

Yes, 5 Stars... the song is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

5 stars? no. not 5 stars. Shakira is amazing, yes, but that doesn't mean everything she churns out is going to be amazing. this is an average and quite disappointing lead single in comparison to expectation, it needed a thuddier beat to it and more aggression since it's about a so called 'She Wolf'. Luckily, the Calvin Harris version is decent. I do think the song is still not bad, I listen to it, i just don't love it like I have with numerous of her previous tracks. I hope the 2nd single will be her Whenever Wherever or Hips Don't Lie of this new era :)

when i first saw the video and song i was like it not bad but shakira has made better songs. But after hearing it loads of times i love it and the song has grown on me. It think its one those songs that sneaks up on you and you up liking it.

Part of me likes it, part of me doesn't. I like the backing track but the lyrics and wolf howling in the background is very unusual. It's different, but a bit embaressing. Her outfit is unusual in the video too.

We LOVE this song. Not because it's an amazing piece of music or because it's anything remotely good, but the video is a work of art. However, it's for all the wrong reasons. It's not because Shakira is scantily clad or the "amazing" choreography... nope... it's the fact that it looks sooooo stupid which makes it a pleasure to watch. It must be the first video I have seen where someone dances inside of a glittering *lady part*. The song it's sell is less than desirable.

The reviews are obviously done by gay guys!! as any other person wouldnt give this song 5 stars 2/3 maybe but thats pushing it! it's quite pathetic really!! I have no problem with gays i have a few friends that are but you need to stop kissing all these ladys bums like lady man gaga,saturdays,shakira...the list goes on and all the people who have rated this song 4/5 are most likley gay aswell as you guys are the onlyOnes who would play this type of music

Some people here are so critical. At least she writes her song own song unlike Sluts Aloud and Sluterdays. Excellent comeback song Shakira. It does defiantly derserves 5 stars, bitches.
Alan Smith, Kensington on September 16th, 2009
Forgot to rate. The song is good but it doesn't deserve 5 stars like come on.
alison, london on September 15th, 2009
love the song, doesn't deserve five stars though, this place is a joke!
Tchyea on September 15th, 2009
What an average track! How in the world did you rate it 5/5?!
Tavia UK on September 15th, 2009
Stacy, what's hard to believe about a 32 year old having a great body?? Not everyone turns into a big frump past 30! Anyway, the song's great and I love the wolf-howly bits - odd but catchy.
lee, Kent on September 15th, 2009
Shakira tends to write her own music so I would assume that she managed to get Lycanthropy into the song. I think the song is catchy. She is singing about a woman who goes after other women's men. No cash in on Twilight etc... Don't forget she learnt English from reading from the Dictionary... I think its a good song. You can hardly take her lyrics that seriously when she sang about her breasts being small and humble so you don't confuse them with mountains. You can't really criticise these lyrics either judging from "Whenever Wherever"
Ami, Manchester on September 15th, 2009
Ok, I'll raise my hands and say I was a bit iffy about this song when it first came out. However, I've found it just as addictive as Hips Don't Lie and think it's going to go on to be such a big hit! It's very catchy that sometimes I find myself dancing around the room to it!
Alan Smith, Kensington on September 15th, 2009
Guys if your a man and you don't find Shakira hot then your a homo
Dave, Paris on September 15th, 2009
The video is a bit embarassing. Obviously Shakira just does what the director tells her, so it would be their fault, but she's a bigger fool for going along with it. She dances at several points like a really beautiful woman (she is) mocking a parent dancing at a wedding. The lyrics are really bad; anyone who fits lycanthropy into a song really hit the creek when it came to penning the new album. I can't help wondering if it was influenced by the current werewolf/vampire craze of modern media and was a shameless attempt to cash in. I agree with others who said she's capable of much, much better.

Love shakira new song!!
Jason, Hull on September 15th, 2009
i love dancing to this, great beat!! love the quirky lyrics, good one shakira! is she double jointed? how does she do that back bend move in the video???
william wolf on September 15th, 2009
she's just so original!! theres no one like her, how many people are daring enough to write about lycanthropy over a dance beat with a mixing on boney m style disco. this song is a breath of fresh air. she is the real deal not manufactured pop crap like 90% of other female acts.
Stacy, London on September 15th, 2009
Completely agree with Andrea. Shakira is original and unique. Can't believe she's 32 and has a body like that. God I wish I had her figure.
Andrea, London on September 15th, 2009
I love the beginning when the beat kicks in and also the violin part. Shakira is original and unique. All you people who do not like this song then you are no taste in music.
Joe, Wales on September 14th, 2009
Very average song from Shakira, she can do a hell of alot better.

When I first Shakira was going down the electro route for her new single, I was excited to see what it was like. But I was hugely disappointed. It grew on me slightly more after a few more listens, but I still think this is pretty bad, especially for Shakira. Of course I believe musicians should experiment with their music, but the Latin-pop suited Shakira a hell of a lot better than this. I think it's a bit Marmite-ish and will divide opinions, but five stars it is definitely not. The song isn't SO bad minus the 'SOS she's in the disguise' bit and the chorus. But that doesn't leave too much left, does it?.. Weak effort.

miles pearce basingstoke on September 14th, 2009
okay so hips don't lie and where ever, when ever are like 10 times better than this, but this is still good and what i love about shakira is that all her songs sound completly different. She Wolf isn't the best of songs but it's a great start for her next album and im very much addicted to this at the mo

Graham, Birmingham on September 14th, 2009
Mmmmm....Its Shakira with a new single and the answer is NO......she still can't sing!! If I stuck half a dozen plums in my mouth and then tried to sing I would sound just like Shakira! I hate to upset all of the 10 year olds who love this, ooops! sorry! I got that wrong! Try again. I hate to upset all of the 10 years that Radio 1 tell to love this, but its about as appealing as a visit to the dentist.
anita on September 14th, 2009
she wolf in the closet, well...when this song comes on i have to get in a closet with padded walls to trap out this hell of a noise!!
EmilyBemilyB on September 14th, 2009
5 stars hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah the reviews really do seem to keep getting worse and worse =/ And actually leona lewis's "bleeding love" is the biggest selling single in the 21st century worldwide by a female artist so.............
Alex, London on September 14th, 2009
I totally agree, her music has evolved, definitely one of the best pop songs of 2009
Lewis, Madrid on September 14th, 2009
Absolutely amazing, Te quiero Shakira! :)
Callum, UK on September 14th, 2009
I love how she is always doing something different from all the others. The voice is amazing, the musical ideas are many and multi-genred. It's great to have a song where the chorus (the typical certain point of a song) is not the highlight and doesn't have to be repeated over and over. Fantastic. Don't hate her because she's not following the trend of trashy pop music. It's just Shakira being Shakira. And I love it!!!
Ben Rawson-Jones, Northwood Hills on September 14th, 2009
Quite possibly the worst single I've ever heard, in terms of melody, lyrics and vocals. I'd rather hear Chewbacca sing the hits of Geri Halliwell than listen to this embarrassing tripe again. Having said that, I do like watching the video - but only if the sound is muted. Shakira is very decent clunge indeed.
James, Watford on September 14th, 2009
love it! great to have Shakira back, and i'm loving the new dance direction, as she recently said would feature prominently on the new album. i don't think the chorus shows off the full strength of her voice, and the end does sound to me as if it's missing something big, but apart from that it's a cracking tune, makes me want to get up and dance, and there's some very clever lyrics in the verses. her performance in the video is just wow. can't believe she's 32! but she looks as good as ever.
Brad on September 14th, 2009
5 stars? Sorry but that's insulting. This song is very weak and I expect more from Shakira.
Elle, Newcastle on September 14th, 2009
Terrible. The chorus is dire. You must be joking with 5 stars!
