Deadmau5 ft. Rob Swire: 'Ghosts N Stuff'
His name may conjure up rather unpleasant images of a lifeless rodent on the kitchen floor, but that doesn't appear to have held Joel Zimmerman back. Already a respected name in house circles, the Toronto-born DJ enjoyed a commercial breakthrough with 'I Remember' this summer, before a string of festival appearances were brightened up by his giant 'Mau5head' bobbing about onstage.

Thankfully, the Mau5 shows no sign of slowing down. Latest offering 'Ghosts N Stuff', taken from his upcoming compilation For Lack Of A Better Name, is a collaboration with Pendulum frontman Rob Swine that builds on everything that was right with 'I Remember'. Combining pulsating house beats with a heady array of synths - mastered on a mixing console known as a Lemur - it's got an urgency to it that's impossible to resist. It may not be as commercial radio-friendly as a David Guetta offering, but this will sound just as good on the dancefloor.

absolutely awesome tune! i actually think there's been quite a few decent dance songs this year, but this is the best of the lot. i thought 'I Remember' was a bit boring, but this is dance music at it's best. there's so much going on - the beats and effects are top notch, and Rob Swire adds a great vocal to it. should be a big dancefloor tune. seriously hope this is a hit.
