This synth-heavy, Krautrock-esque comeback track is unlikely to change this, but it's none the worse for it. The combination of throbbing electronic surges and Smith's "It kicks like a sleep twitch!" holler is pretty irresistible and has a touch of the Gary Numan about it. White Lies may have muscled in on their sombre rock sound at the start of the year, but rather than sit around and sulk, Editors have retaliated with one of their finest tracks to date.

i thought they had 2 top 10 singles - Smokers... and Munich. anyway, i'm liking this song the more i hear it, it's different to their other stuff but just as enjoyable. a good move forward.

What a tune and better still what an album. The Editors actually manage the impossible in that they have gone all electronic on us yet there distinct identity isn't lost. Tom Smith's vocals shine through whilst the new electronic twist gives the album a pace and edge I felt they lacked but made up for in previous outings.
