Cascada: 'Dangerous'
Cascada tried something different last time out, chucking a good dollop of 'Just Dance', a generous helping of recent Britney and a sprinkling of S Club 7 into the mixer and coming up with 'Evacuate The Dancefloor', a cheap but satisfying pop trifle that stopped Michael Jackson from scoring a posthumous No.1. Its parent album, singer Natalie Horler promised, would be "a lot more interesting" than its predecessors.

However, the second single finds Cascada slipping back into old habits. The beats thump relentlessly, the chorus gives way to a honking great synth hook, and the lyrics sound as if they were translated from whatever the Japanese equivalent of a Mills & Boon novel is: "No doubt, I wanna be your lover", "I'm blinded by your eyes", "You just crossed my border now". 'Dangerous' is by no means unpalatable, but you'll probably only find it tempting in the wee hours of Saturday morning - some time between ordering your last drink and making the pilgrimage to the kebab van.

To help sell & promote this rubbish the lardy Chav singer now comes up with a story about a "suicidal" fan who became obsessed with her. Lardy doesn't want to think to talk about it, only to the Daily Star. It will have to come up with a better story to flog this rubbish

Back the old sound again? It was nice to see a change with the last song but it's the same old beat again - yawn!!

Since Cascada ruined two of my favourite songs (Truly Madly Deeply and What Hurts The Most) I've not liked anything she's sung. This new song is awful.

Wow!! It's amazing and it is a usual Cascada anthem but it is far from typical. I am really stunned with it. It shows that Cascada hasn't quite 'Evacuated the Dancefloor' after all. Seems though she's back with the thing she does best. The reason the sound like this is usual is because its dance music and yet it doesn't stop it from sounding great does it? I'm buying this tomorrow and I hope it is another Cascada hit to remember!!

All Cascada's songs sound exactly the same. Same beat etc. Annoying.

I loved Evacuate The Dancefloor but this is a terrible follow up to it. Cascada should have released Fever for the second single from the album not this cringe worthy crap.

I think "Dangerous" is a good song and it isn't exactly like her previous singles. Yes it has more of the traditional Cascada sound but whats wrong with that? Britney has her own sound, Lady Gaga has her own sound, Backstreet Boys have a sound, and so does Cascada. I do like the new album a lot and it does have variety on it. "Fever" is being released in Germany and hopefully will be released elsewhere as well. 5 stars or Dangerous hope it does well!!

i think this tunes heavy. a proper dance anthem! and there new album IS alot different to their other stuff, theres a variety of electro, pop etc. dangerous is infact probably the only song that does sound like their previous singles, so they are branching out! i hope the next release is 'fever', will do well

Not the best off the Evacuate The Dancefloor album but if you're a Cascada fan (which I am!) it's all good. It was nice to hear something remotely different on 'Evacuate The Dancefloor'. I think Cascada need to branch out a little because people are just going to get bored of the same sound over and over again. This song is catchy. It's danceable. It's fun. Just not fantastic.
