Absolutley love her voice .she is a real talent writes her own music and I hope will go far
alex surrey on November 6th, 2009
Well she was the best by some distance last year and hopefully this will springboard her to be able to release the kind of music she really wants to perform. This kind of talent must not disappear as it is special. She has reached 16 on I tunes with pretty much no airplay. Has anyone heard it on the radio? Good luck Laura and make sure you release some of your old, pre x factor music too at some point.

Love this song hope it gets lots of airplay
Jean Leigh on November 4th, 2009
Love the song much better than Cheryl Cole and Alexander Burke. Laura is original as she has a distictive voice and also writes much of her own material. Hope she does well, she deserves it

Didn't like her on x factor but this is good and comparing it to JLS and ALEXANDRA BURKES debuts, LAURA shines like the biggest star. great track

I have always loved Laura and this song is amazing. Ok, so it won't make number 1 but seeing as it hasn't had millions of airplay, number 16 on itunes after 1 day of release is not bad. Joe is completely right, Amy Winehouse - Rehab only got to number 7 and yet she became a world wide sensation from that song. I think as Laura gets more publicity, she will be charting higher with every single. This song is amazingly current and is far better than any of the songs on Alexandra Burkes poor debut effort. Love you Laura!

I love this song. Good on Laura White for not making a big spectical like everyone else. She won't get to number 1 coz she didn't have the the big perfomance on X Factor: Alexandra Burke, Cheryl Cole, JLS which is ironic because her voice is better then all of them put together. haha! Even if it doesn't make the top 10- so what? Amy Winehouse only made the top 10 once and she is a musical legend. I just hope the album is coming out regardless :) Love you Laura you are the best thing to come out of X Factor.

I love this song...much better than the crap some of the other X factor lot have been releasing. Always thought she was the best one in last years show..was just a fix when she was voted off....Think she will be a star.
Melissa on October 23rd, 2009

Don't know why a lot of people are complaining. I personally like it and her vocals sounds good. I'm glad she didn't go through the Jazz route as everybody else was thinking.

Oh Laura what have you done?! She's a fanstastic singer but this song is awful, and I hate to say that because I fully supported her on The X Factor! I don't like the way she's pretending to be a 'bad girl', because she isn't. Go back to your X Factor ways Laura
Gemma on October 17th, 2009
she's amazing and so is her first single...watch this space! shes gonna be huge!
Jennifer, Belfast on October 17th, 2009
This is SO bad! Why hasn't she got a good song, she's such a fantastic singer?! And I fully agree with most of the comments below, this 'tough girl' image she is trying to pull off just doesn't work. She's great as she is, I wish she wouldn't try to break away from what we saw on the XFactor.
Ash north west on October 17th, 2009
i think its amazing! i hope it does well! cant wait for the album
bek, london on October 16th, 2009

Katy, Manchester on October 16th, 2009
I love Laura's voice but I have to agree with some of the below comments - the whole bad girl image she's trying to show off with this song does seem very forced and not particularly convincable. She never showed any real personality on the show and she doesn't on this song either so I think she do a nice, stripped back song and let her voice do the talking. It's not that this is a bad song, it just doesn't suit Laura and it's not particularly memorable either.

James, Watford on October 16th, 2009
it's ok i suppose. nice modern production, and Laura has a great voice to carry it, and it's good that she's tried to show some attitude in this song, although it does seem a bit forced. she's one of the very few people off x factor who i actually like - far more genuine and likeable than Alexandra. trouble is, because Laura didn't win the show, and because she isn't a boyband aimed at 10-year-old girls, she won't get much exposure and promotion. still, i believe she has a considerable fanbase so maybe that will help her to some success. in my opinion she'd be more deserving of it than the stupidly overhyped JLS and Alex.

It's definitely a grower!

Unbelievable vocalist. Saw her live recently. Great girl and so much soul
Nick B, Bournemouth on October 16th, 2009
Not utter tripe...but I have to admit that when it comes to reality losers, I preferred the singles by Rosie Ribbons, Sinead Quinn, and even Zoe Birkett... 'You Should Have Known' is just not memorable at all. I did think Laura White came across as a 'nice' girl on XF and singing about the good sex all seems a little bit against character, and deliberately controversial/desperate. At the end of the day, she wasn't voted off due to her voice - she was much better than Rachel Hylton and Daniel Evans - instead it was her bland personality and You Should Have Known does little to rectify this. It's a second rate-attempt at imitating Gabriella Cilmi and without any injection of originality.
J,Bristol on October 16th, 2009
Utter tripe.
Dan, Peterborough on October 16th, 2009
Slow and boring, not good enough. This time next you she will be long forgotten
Alan, Cork on October 15th, 2009
I liked her a lot on the X Factor last year, but I think this is fairly awful. Wish I did like it though.
