@ michaela, can you not spell or type properly? or is that how westlife fans talk on the internet? because i think i just about understood what you said. I couldn't be more angry at Westlife for covering what is a fantastic song, Daughtry have not been given the chance to succeed over here and i feel they would. Also people are making it seem like its Westlife's song when it blatantly isn't. If you listen to both, they sound EXACTLY the same so Westlife did not even make it their own they just copied it completely.

westlife is just a cover band. they have made it big singing other peoples songs, have they got no talent. they have ruined daughtrys song the original is much better

Really like song when Daughtry sang it but i think westlife version is the same. The different here is Daughtry are a band whereas Westlife seem to be a cover group. Westlife need to start playing instruments. Simon Cowell is a plonker and as for westlife, they should start drawing the pension. Face it lads, ye are well past ye sell by date. If people have any cop on, they should go and buy the first album from Daughtry. I just got their second album Leave This Town and it rocks. Westlife please move aside and let Daughtry take over the throne. Dont get me started on Louis Walsh, he has not got a note in his head.

Another great song from Westlife, I loved this original and I love this version, I don't think there was anything sneaky at all about the cover, it is a wonderful cover and I am really happy to see the guys back and performing again. I have high hopes for album number 7. They've been amazing since day one and ten years later they still are amazing.

Love Daughtry's version better even though I have liked Westlife since day one. Think its a shame when Daughtry are trying to make a name for themselves in the UK with his new song 'Surprise' being played on the music tv stations and Simon Cowell gives this song to Westlife. C'mon Simon let the UK see exactly how good Daughtry is and not an IDOL FLOP like some people see him as.

Once again the out-dated Westlife have completely ruined a fantastic original song. Why can't these jokers release any of their song instead of killing everyone else's. Unbelievable. What's worse is you thinking this track deserves a 3 star (average) rating. You need to have your head examined!

I do like this song, and I like how Westlife do covers, they reintroduce songs from the past for younger audiences who wouldn't know the song otherwise. Whats the harm in that! Great voices as always. Glad they are back!

Westlife don't claim any covers for their own! They have never once said that they are a band who write all their own stuff! They say they are a male vocalist group, their career is based on singing and performing to perfection!

I dont mind bands doing covers as long as they do something different with it.. But this is a rip off!! It seems exactly the same As Daughtry's original song which I love. Think I'll stick with that one, which has the better vocals in my opnion.

I'm a huge Daughtry fan and was totally disgusting that Westlife cannot come up with anything original - their career is based on ripping off songs from other people and claiming them for their own. There are so many talented song writers out there that surely they can find something.

ANother westlife cover. the saddest part is its a sneaky cover, not everyone has heard of daughtry and probably will think its a new one. I used to be a Westlife fan but they are boring now, lads you should've split a long time ago. What a shame the days of World of Our Own are way behind you. Be orignial guys, look a Take That all their own songs with NO covers on their two latest albums. You need to learn from the masters!!!!

All you people who say they are awful! seriously get a life! I'd like to see anyone else get as many number ones or even try to be as successful as westlife i'm 15 and have seen westlife 6 times in concert! they have been amazing everytime. So what if they do covers! Like someones already said even if they wrote this song themselves you would all moan and groan about how they could do better, they are talented vocalists who have millions of fans all over the world and what about now is another sensation! If you think you could do better get up there and do it! Give them a break!

Average at best. They have done too many covers although I still love Mark he makes it what it is. I don't like the original anyway.

its not westlifes fault thay dont manage them self loui and simon wanted them to sing this song and i think they sing it very well and 11 years later they are still going strong thay do a lot of covers but they have got to number 1 just great singers

Absolutely awful. Shameless cover of a brilliant song. They'll take all the credit for this when they've done nothing but just sing over the same music as the original! When will people wake up and see what a ridiculous band westlife are? The music industry is not about stealing songs that aren't yours, or that aren't as well known. The only reason they've covered this song is because it's got popular on X Factor and they just want to get easy money!

I do like Westlife, i'm not their biggest fan but i think they are a great group with good vocals. i was waiting for a great comeback single but yet again they have done a cover version. first off i am not a fan of the song, its annoying but yet catchy. i think westlife do a good job but i can't enjoy it because i'm not a fan of the song.
