Ou Est Le Swimming Pool: 'Dance The Way I Feel'

2009 will surely go down as the year of girls and their synth-pop hooks. The likes of Lady GaGa, La Roux and Little Boots have made it pretty difficult for their male counterparts to get in on the action - just ask Dan Black and Frankmusik. Still, this hasn't deterred Camden trio Ou Est Le Swimming Pool from deciding it's time to redress the gender balance.

If their debut single's anything to go by, they could be about to succeed where others have stumbled. Sounding like MGMT meets Cut Copy with a hint of '80s thrown in for good measure, 'Dance The Way I Feel' sends a ripple of excitement down the spine from first listen, especially when the 'Stop!' chorus hits. Cool, confident and catchy too - is it too soon to be tipping this lot for big things in 2010?

A fantastic dance tune. Incredible. Cannot wait to see them supporting La Roux. Does anyone know where I can get tickets? Or is it sold out already?

I adore "Dance the way I feel" and "Outside" and am keeping everything crossed their album gets underway soon. They were great fun live (supporting la Roux) and I would highly recommend folowing their progress and supporting their work. Buy it, watch them..you heard it here first!!!

Bloody hell, they were god...awesome! Electric performance last night, the actual song sounds better live. They worked a difficult crowd that had been queueing in the rain for hours upon end only for the doors to open later than schedule. At the end of their set everyone was baying for more including me!

Dance The Way I Feel is wicked and Ou Est Le Swimming Pool are a fantastic band! Their style and music is fresh, incredibly catchy and addictive, but also meaningful. All this along with the energy they radiate when performing live - they are going to make it big in 2010!
