It's not easy to make such an iconic track your own, especially when said track seems to get the remix and reissue treatment every couple of years. Joss Stone sidestepped the issue with a disposable, Staton-imitating version on her latest LP. Florence, on the other hand, has bravely thrown caution to the wind and chucked herself completely into the song like the old raver she is, while still giving it the quirky pop style of the rest of her debut album. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's beautifully sung, well-intentioned and fun, and you can imagine the genuine euphoria bouncing off the crowd when she performs it live.
