Consolation, however, comes in the form of their follow-up single. 'I Wish' is a misty-eyed disco-pop nugget, full of regret and longing, whose irresistible chorus has just the right hint of the Vengaboys to it. Britt and Frankee, meanwhile, display just as much lively vocal charm as they did first time out. Of course, this is only likely to make you crave that Long-Player more, but as your mum used to say when you asked for a dollop of Angel Delight before you finished your fishfingers and chips, all good things...

I absolutely adore this song and I have done ever since I first heard the preview on Popjustice a good while ago. I think it's better than LMHIT (which I did get sick of after a while). Perfect dreamy electropop with definite wintry feel. Disappointed the album's been pushed back as I can't wait for more from Mini Viva. I think Xemomania deserve a mention as after Mini Viva, and Annie's amazing latest album, they really are coming out with some amazing modern pop music!

Quite a nice song compared to their previous release, Left My Heart In Tokyo (I must be the only one who never liked that song). What is with Digital Spy and all the references to food?

what a lovely song this is. i actually think this is better than LMHIT - which i also loved. but, while the Japanese-style disco production on LMHIT was superb, it did somewhat overpower the girls' performances (in my opinion) and left me wondering how much they could offer against the superb music. but this song flows better and allows the girls to deliver a wonderfully sweet vocal performance. it's just a gorgeous, shimmering, wintery pop song, reminds me a lot of some of Girls Aloud's winter-released songs, like Call The Shots & The Loving Kind. Xenomania continue to create brilliant pop music. i hope this goes top 10, but because of x factor still hijacking the charts, it might not, but it's already on Radio 1's A-list, so maybe there is some hope. i'm really looking forward to the Mini Viva album - i just worry that with another single likely to be released before it's out, overall album sales will probably suffer. hope they have another few great singles up their sleeves to help it along. i want that album!
