Sadly, 'Ego' demonstrates why LP#1 might remain more appealing to record-buyers than LP#2. The chorus is catchy enough, and the girls do well with the Let's Cut That Arrogant Sod Down To Size lyrics, but this lacks the spark and sense of freshness that made even Lights album tracks like 'Lies' so fantastic. "You need to have a sit down with your ego," they inform the titular bighead on the chorus. They, on the other hand, need to have a sit down with their label and get 'One Shot' - Wordshaker's stomping standout - confirmed as the next single.

First, Moiee and Marina, get a room! This is such a good electropop song. Best Saturdays song so far!
This is a tricky one to call. It is by no means a bad song...but just not as strong as it could have been. The production is messy and sounds like a 'everything-and-the-kitchen-sink' job. The chorus could have been amazing as there is a decent melody there, but it is too messy and should have been structured better (possibly one of the singers is not 'getting it' and going overboard with the vocals). It is the kind of song that would sound better with a remix. Why didn't they release One Shot? IMO it is far stronger. Peace
I LOVE the saturdays, to be honest, both their albums are good, people say they are crap, but at the end of the day, everyone has different opinions.

That's not what I was saying. you said Girls Aloud had 7 years of hard work, which made them better than the Saturdays. I was pointing out that that does not make them better, because in 7 years The Saturdays will have had 7 years of hard work, and Girls Aloud 14, and comparing them in that sense does not make any sense. It's just a matter of how long they've been around, and The Saturdays are new. Yes, I treat them as human beings too. When did I call them 'all sorts of bad names'? 'The X Factor didn't give her any fame at all.' I refuse to take that statement seriously. It's not hate, it's a dislike. :) I'M NOT WRONG. Neither do I think you are. Yes, but The Saturdays are new. They can hardly have 'seven years of hard work', and I doubt Girls Aloud did in their early days. Yes, really. Girls Aloud are hardly the best singers in the world, are they? That was my opinion. You can disagree, yes, but I am not wrong, and neither am I right.

Marina, do you have some sort of vendetta against me? That was my opinion on something as insif=gnificant as whether Girls Aloud are good. How can I be 'wrong'. Yes, you can disagree with me, I respect your opinion, but if you think the difference between The Saturdays and Girls Aloud is that girls Aloud is real music, you have some serious issues. They are the same type, the only difference I see is that The Saturdays are better vocalists.
I like it, mainly because of that catchy bit before between the verse and the chorus - but I think "Lose Control" would've made a really hyper happy christmas single. The fact that Here Standing is tipped to be the next single is a joke. It's a rip-off of "No Air" by Jordin Sparks and Chris "woman-hater" Brown.

Am I the only person who thinks this is The Saturday's best single? Also i took the time to listen to 'One shot' after Digital Spy's review and I really disagree with them, but each to their own :)
The saturdays second album is good and this is probably one of my favorite songs . the other songs they should release are 2AM , wordshaker , not good enough , denial
Ego - Pretty much one of the Saturday's best songs in my opinion :)
