JLS: 'One Shot'

It was obvious all along that JLS had something, but who could have predicted the way they've converted their X Factor popularity into proper, scream-if-you-seem-em-in-the-cheese-aisle pop stardom? The boys' career highlights so far: a Robbie-beating, million-selling debut album, three Brits nods, and torsos so over-exposed that we can actually picture Aston's abs with our eyes closed.

New single 'One Shot' - only their third, believe it or not - will do nothing to halt the group's momentum. It's essentially a classic boyband ballad given some trendy, rave-tinged production - lyrics to please Louis Walsh, synth sounds to satisfy the Kiss FM playlist team. Decent enough then, but as with most of their album, it does make you wonder how far JLS might go with some really good tunes?

JLS are wasting their talent on stereotypical R'N'B tripe. sure the song may be catchy, but this "one shot" is hardly going to last at all, if they are not too careful. and

u all need to get a life, because real life isn't about all boys being gorgeuos!! and i am sure that in real life these four aren't that perfect, call me a realistic person, if u even bother. they were given shot and they made something good out of it, and i respest them for that! but the truth they are a another boy band with pretty boys on it, nothing more nothing less.

oh my god. why tell 'Lucy Merrygold' to get a life, she likes JLS and that is all there is to it. You are all wasting your time because if you don't like it then nobody really cares, your quite pathetic to be honest. You like different music, SO WHAT? I think JLS are FANTASTIC, they have a MOBO, and 2 Brits!! Its obv that people are pretending to be Alexandra Burke etc. The are amazing, and the fact that they ahve the awards they do and have had 2 number 1 singles and a 3 TIMES PLATINUM selling album proves they are good. I'd be giving this a higher rating if it wasn't for JLS' two other singles: Beat Again and Everybody In Love. The thing I dislike about One Shot is that it's just the same as their other songs. It's always about a relationship with a girl. Do something original, JLS. If you're song-writers even allow you to input your view on a song before they stick it down our throats.

JLS have improved massively since Xfactor! They may mime at times but only because they put on such a show - this song is amazing and I love the video!
