But, whether they're bezzy mates or not, this latest single shows there's life yet in brand 'Babes. Produced by PCD and Britney knob-twiddler Fernando Garibay, 'Wear My Kiss' is a fuzzed-up pop thumper with suitably sexy verses and a chanted "da-da-da" hook that lodges in your brain like shrapnel. The result? Very now, very radio-friendly and - best of all - more comfortably Sugababes-sounding than 'Get Sexy' or 'About A Girl'.

I can see why Keisha was kicked out of the group!! She realised how crap this was (and most of the tracks on the new album), kicked up a fuss and got booted for having too much self-respect to sing this stuff!! It's terrible not even PCD would have released this and though done some sh*t over the years!! Goodbye feisty, suggestive, self written pop, hello radio-boring, desperate crap!! Singing about shoes and mannequins YAWN!!!
Poor song with annoying squeal all the way through!!
This song is a breath of fresh air when compared to the not-so-sugababes sounding material that is Get Sexy and About A Girl. The "Da-da-da" ropes you in and the whipping "Wear My Kiss" chorus sticks in your mind for hours on end. Wear My Kiss reminds us what the Sugababes are really about, regardless of the ever shifting line-up.
I'm just not feeling this song. I don't like the unoriginal lyrics, almost every line is 'I'm like this, I'm like that, you wanna s**g me' etc. Garibay's production is pretty slick and the 'da da da' parts are quite good, but Sugababes recent sound suggests they've gone down the generic pop route, which is a shame for a group who used to sound so fresh and made many genuinely memorable & enduring pop songs. Songs like this and the last 2 singles might sound good at the time, but they'll be forgotten very quickly - unlike the likes of Overload, Push The Button, About You Now.. to name a mere few.
Best line up, brilliant song.
Don't get all these reviews giving Sugababes five stars. The song is crap
I do like this song, its very enjoyable. but ive had to rate it low. (The song I would give about 8.5/10). because the group just doesnt seem right anymore after all the change (Even though I believe Jade Ewen is excellent), Sugababes is no longer a band, but has become a franchise.
I can safely say that I am HOOKED on this song! I love it, and it is incredibly catchy, I was singing along too it within the first three listens! But one negative, in the video, Jade Ewen looks like a teletubby! LOL x
im a fan of the old line-up and not prejudiced against the new one but i must say... their new sound is a little cheap and puts me off buying the album. worst single off sweet 7 (so far) but not a complete disaster
Another great song from Sweet 7 - hope this does well in the chart!! Still a bit disappointed About A Girl only made no.8 when in my opinion, it was possibly their best songs for years!! Love the new line-up as well!!

@Anna and M, clearly you are not reading what Im writing, as I clearly stated I THINK that the direction they are going is wrong, they have always come out with a newer sound with each album and even with the 'sexy' videos like 'Push The Button' they had, it was always done with class. I hated the 'Get Sexy' video as it was clearly on the wrong side of class and overtly slutty (oh Kiesha was in that wasnt she!!!). I do know that she was involved a lot with Sweet 7 and wanted the R&B flavour etc for the album, I just think that she was uncomfortable with the way it turned out, hence the arguments etc. This is MY opinion and if you dont like it I dont mind, keep buying this rubbish and supporting the 'brand' because Im sure, in a year or less, Hiedi will be next on the chopping block and another stick insect will be brought in. Even if Kiesha was still in the group this is wouldnt of affected my opinion of this once great group.

this is to M from Bristol, i dont really know how you can say that when keisha was heavily involved in push the button, lyrics and video wise? you just dont really know what your talking about really. Sugababes have always took a new musical direction with every album, and from interviews you will find Keisha was involved alot in the making of sweet 7 so she carnt of been that uncomfortable, she was just jelous cause amelle was getting the spolight.

@Matt - Keisha was the one who WANTED TO GO IN THIS DIRECTION. As stated in many an interview, and as made obvious by her constant references to bigshot producers she wanted to work with. The only one that looks uncomfortable is Heidi, who clearly misses her Atomic Kitten days.
The song is ok but i have to agree, they just aint the Sugababes anymore :( We need keisha and mutya back, and forget siobhan, heidi and mutya and keisha were the best incarnation the group ever had!
Great song and very catchy its a grower. Wish people would stop juding the new line up - destiny's child change more often than the weather n no one in the USA complained as much - Heidi will always mean Sugababes for me - The best girlsband the UK will ever see - far better the the overrated, talentless girld aloud - omg connot believe a mentioned their names lol , by the way - heidi was offered by simon cowell a contract (solo) - she never took it - why? - cos shes loyal n deticated - not like the other little scratters that left the sugababes.
