Despite his endearing day-glo attitude, his music often falls just short of the delirious catchiness really needed to pull off his irritatingly jolly shtick. This third single from last year's Boy Who Knew Too Much LP kicks off with a great opening couplet ("He's got looks that books take pages to tell / He's got a face to make you fall on your knees") but yet again the melody can't carry the weight of his Proper Pop ambitions. Sadly, it makes the fine 'We Are Golden' seem more like a one-off blip than a real corner turned.

Well I think this is typical Mika and what he's good at. Catchy tune with some clever lyrics and a nice sing-along chorus. Shame he's lost Radio 1 support for the first time with this song. He's had very poor support from most radio stations in general with his 2nd album. They'd rather satisfy the X Factor loving kids by playing Alexandra and JLS to death.

Utter drivel, this guy's career is nosediving fast. See you in the local McDonalds soon Mika, just make sure my big mac is hot.

MIKA is a class act that will be around for many years to come just to really bug you 1 star people out there. All of his tunes are very different and have a broad appeal to a wide spectrum of people and ages. I have tickets to see him on tour in Berlin and London over the next 8 weeks and I know that I will enjoy him live as much as last time. I think that his 2nd album is just as good as his first and he can sing live unlike so many "recording artists" out there these days...

Well if "we are Gowwwdenn" was'nt bad enough, everyones favorite irritation trys to out do himself with such lyrical gems as "blame it on your dad but you know he's dead" so intesley irritating. He should go back to making muzak for B A.

I disagree entirely, I love Blame It On The Girls. In fact I love Mika's whole second album even more than I loved his first which is truly saying something since his first was brilliant. Some people will just never get it but I and millions of others DO get it and find Mika's music be nothing less than genius and above all a genuine artistic expression of who Mika is. I can't get enough of him, personally.

I disagree completely with the review. "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" is a much better album than the first, and my little brother has it on repeat on the computer, which drives me insane. After listening to Blame It On The Girls enough though, it stands out as a really good, well thought-out song from Mika, so I wish it all the best. Haven't heard much of it on the UK Radio's, which is what caused "Rain", another great single to only get #72, so I wish UK Radio would play more!

I love this song and don't agree with the review. What's wrong with being happy? Not all of us want to listen to Lady Sh**ting Gaga and Rihanna you know!

Whilst Katie Price remains the most annoying 'Female?!' to be given the gift of life, who wins the 'Male' prize.......??......er....it's quite difficult this one. Oh yes! its MIKA!!! Never before has someone made my skin crawl quite as much as this talentless idiot. Please Mika, do everyone a favour and take your pathetic and dated 'Cabaret' act somewhere else. My 10 year old daughter singing Miley Cyrus songs is better than this bile. Go back to the lunatic asylum you came from. Byeeeeee.

I actually really like this song, prefer it to "We are golden" The main issue is because the first album did so well, it so much easier to criticise the 2nd album qhich I generally find just as good.

It's not Mika at his best, but the song's catchy and it paints a decent picture of people that have a decent life staring them in the face and just can't see it. Reminds me of Chandler in Friends, 'Oh no, two women want me... they're both gorgeous and sexy... my wallet's too small for my fifties, and my diamond shoes are too tight!'

Mika is my favourite singer so how someone can criticise him so much is what i hate!!! he great and i dont know why you waste your time on critisising people who are acctually decent for once!!
