Florence & Dizzee: 'You've Got The Dirtee Love'

A collaboration between Dizzee Rascal and Florence and the Machine, both of whom took home a panel-picked gong on the night. You know, it's funny how things work out sometimes...

Anyway, 'You've Got The Dirtee Love' may sound like an ode to sexual peccadilloes either scatological or sado-masochistic, but it's actually a mash-up of Florence's hit Candi Staton cover and Dizzee's recent recession era rant. The live recording, now available as a 99p download, is surprisingly listenable, especially if you're tickled by the idea of Dizzee namechecking Hollyoaks while Flo's harpist works her fingers behind him. At the very least, it's a better souvenir of the Brits 2010 than a video clip of that godawful Sam Fox moment.
