Taio Cruz ft. Ke$ha: 'Dirty Picture'

Taio Cruz may recently have topped the US singles chart with 'Break Your Heart', but his UK follow-up, 'No Other One', could only limp to number 42. Thankfully, the singer-songwriter-producer seems to have realised the error of his ways, and after what was essentially a sub-par rehash of his previous smash, he's picked spunky Ke$ha hook-up 'Dirty Picture' as the latest single from his Rokstarr album.

It starts off in a fairly typical Taio fashion, all trancey synths and percolating beats, before building to a chorus reminiscent of Benny Benassi's 'Satisfaction'. However, where Cruz's vocals soar over the verses, his delicate tones fails to dent that deliciously trashy chorus. Luckily, guest star Ke$ha more than steps up to the mark, commanding: "Take a dirty picture for me / Take a dirty picture" with enough gusto for the pair of them. It's a bit of a shame, therefore, that it's not her version of the song - available on her album - being released.
