David Guetta 'Gettin' Over You'
You may have learnt from our recent interview with David Guetta that he's been sitting on this release for quite a while to avoid competing with his own chart-busting productions for the Black Eyed Peas. That's a testament to his current musical ubiquity, sure, but it also goes some way to explaining the disappointing performance of his last two singles, 'Memories' and 'One Love', both of which suffered on the charts owing to a lack of buzz - even, perhaps, from Guetta himself.

Anyway, for its single release, Guetta has reworked 'Gettin' Over You' from its original album incarnation to feature three more of his poptastic mates. Setting the powerhouse vocals of Chris Willis and Fergie over pounding beats and jaggedy axe, this is very much the "guitar-sounding club track in the vein of 'Love Is Gone'" that Guetta says it is. Sadly, he neglected to mention that rap duo LMFAO rather ruin the breakdown, proving that too many cooks can spoil an otherwise tasty electro-housey broth.
