Professor Green ft. Lily Allen: 'Just Be Good To Green'

He may have one of the squeakiest voices in rap, but Professor Green knows how to charm the ladies - after all, for this latest single he's managed to wangle a cameo from a certain Ivor Novello-winning songbird who's supposedly on the cusp of musical retirement. His winning technique? A good old natter on Facebook, apparently. Anyway, schmoozing aside, 'Just Be Good To Green' takes an 'if it ain't broke...' approach by firmly sticking to the template that gave the Londoner his breakthrough hit 'Need You Tonight'.

Over a big fat sample from The SOS Band's irrepressible 'Just Be Good To Me', Green waxes lyrical about not being able to restrict himself to one woman but, sure as eggs is eggs, always coming back to the one he loves. Truth be told, his rhymes aren't as ear-snagging as they were last time out, but Allen certainly does justice to that melody, telling him glassily: "Just be good to me." Hmm... maybe if he fulfils her wish, she might give up on this retirement nonsense for good? C'mon Greenie, take one for the team!
