Yoinking some melody from the old French nursery rhyme 'Alouette', 'Bang Bang Bang' is possibly the funnest record he's ever put his name to. Over beats that recall the '80s without reeking of a lazy nostalgia trip, Q-Tip's concise rhymes prove that less really can be more. Overseen by knob-twiddler Ronson, the Tribe Called Quest man's slick delivery also provides a neat and necessary counterpoint to MNDR star Amanda Warner's squeaky hooks. This might not be something you'll care to listen to by the time the sunshine fades, but it'll be a blast until then.
