Paloma Faith 'New York'
So, the album's been out ten months odd. What're the numbers? Platinum in the UK? Nice! What about the US market? Hmmmmm. Didn't you see the production credits? We need to "shift" some serious "units" if we're gonna keep this quirky show on the road. Hey, what was that single? No, no not the completely brilliant one, the nice-but-slightly-less-good one you hear on the telly lots. Bingo! It's called 'New York' for heaven's sake, so why ain't the Yanks biting? Hmmmm... I've got a plan.

Whaddya mean Snoop's busy? What about B.o.B? Para-who?! We need a rap and we need it quick. Someone who's credible, and a little bit brilliant, but also doesn't mind messing about for few bars if we get the Benjamins sorted? Hang on, didn't some of Wu-Tang play with Texas a few years back? Well get out that W Rolodex and give it a spin! Annnnnnd, stop! *Rings* "Ghostface! Long time! Yeah, yeah, how about this hook-up? Nah, you don't even have to meet her. Just chuck me a few rhymes down the line now... Yep. Yep. Sorted. In the can."
