On paper it's what a crass US sports commentator would call a "NOFRIGGINBRAINER!" Swedish pop starlet signs to brand new record label from world's best pop website to release pop single produced by the guy who did the last Kylie hit. The only slight blot on Rosanna's copybook? Her slightly unfortunate surname, which begins with "m" and rhymes with "chunter".

Anyway, incidentals aside, you'll be glad to know that 'Waterfall' doesn't flatter to deceive. Over a gathering storm of moody synths and beats that seem to acknowledge that dubstep's having a bit of a moment right now, Rosanna spins a yarn of almost emo-ish romantic infatuation in her cute, creamy voice - one that's pretty much perfect for this kind of electropop. The overall effect is sweet and sad at the same time, a bit like eating your favourite biscuits in bed... just after last night's squeeze scarpered without saying goodbye.
