Then again, the album's title track and second single is a welcome reminder that there's more to the future Mrs Brand than Benny Hill humour, that godawful blue wig and an admittedly bitchen' X Factor cameo. Filled with lyrics about getting drunk on the beach, going all the way tonight and the like, this ode to young love comes off like a lost classic from an '80s teen movie soundtrack - given a 2010 production sheen courtesy of Messrs Blanco, Luke & Martin of course. Best of all, just like 'California Gurls', it's got something that's big, tasty and impossible not to gobble up as it whallops you right round the chops - the chorus. Ooh and indeed er!

I honestly don't believe this song deserves that much praise. The only thing which stopped me from giving it a single star straight away was that it's not as bad as other songs from the lucrative pop rock mass production craze. It's listenable, but it's certainly not preferable over much other music.
Totally agreed, it's bound to be another smash, I can actually see this being the best selling single of the year!
Fantastic song, so much better than California Gurls. Everything about this song is immensely catchy, especially the rocky chorus. Definitely worth the five stars it was given!

"brilliant"? dear god. Nick, seriously, 5 stars? this like anything Ms "aimed at 12yo girls" Perry does barely scratches 3stars on a good day and you know it. Chic has best a 2year career until her fans grow up... oh and then what?
