Ke$ha 'Take it Off'
"Now we're getting so smashed / Knocking over trash cans / Everybody breaking bottles / It's a filthy hot mess," Ke$ha boasts on single number four from her debut album. Yup, that's right, the glimpses of emotion shown on her last offering, 'Your Love Is My Drug', are as long gone as her sobriety. Instead she's opted to refill her empty water bottle with her old pal Jack and head out for another night of glitter-fueled debauchery - but could now be the right time for an intervention?

After all, as she sings about a slipping into a "hole in the wall" where the freaks "go hardcore", you have to wonder when all this partying is going to catch up with her. Nonetheless, the combination of a playful nursery rhyme hook and Dr Luke's bubblegummy electro production make this a pretty irresistible little dancefloor ditty. Of course, the vocals are more processed than a Cheesetring, but if someone's going to tell us about their "dirty free-for-alls", we're glad it's Ke$ha. As for the intervention, well, she seems to have a hold on it all... for now.

It's way too processed. Ke$ha can actually sing, so there is no reason for THIS MUCH auto-tune. If you're into Ke$ha, get TiK ToK, Your Love Is My Drug, Hungover and VIP, all from her album "Animal".

I like it and it's one of the best on the album BUT she needs a ballad out.Her 1st 3 singles are all similar in sound. Bring out Stephen - a much better song imo

I quite like this song - and hate myself for it. The melody is irritatingly familiar, anyone else think it sounds like the instrumental intro from Boney M's Rasputin?

It's great to find a modern song that encourages you to "take off" your inhibitions and accept and embrace every walk of life. Something that Gaga has yet to do, despite how many times she preaches it. But then again Gaga was never a good one for substance, more like substance abuse. A great song, and video, but am looking forward to a single that really shows off what Ke$ha's voice can really do. You need only look up the song "Goodbye" on YouTube. It's beautiful and there's not a trace of auto-tune in sight.
