The Pretty Reckless, Just Tonight cover
Knife wielding, an urge to burn things and exposing her breasts for kicks... really puts the knock-and-runs and candy fags of our teens to shame. It's also making it pretty tricky to avoid Taylor Momsen, because the more she offers up the goods, so-to-speak, the more we realise that behind the tatty black netting and heavy eye make-up she possesses that thing Louis harps on about every Saturday: Star Quality.

'Just Tonight' marks not only her - and her band's - third consecutive corker, but also a rare moment of sobriety from the wild child. A song about being stuck in a flagging relationship may not tread any new lyrical ground, but when it's backed by a chunky pop/rock melody, thrashing guitars and oh-so smoky vocals, the result is more gratifying than that first sip of blue WKD round ya mate's - though in Momsy's case, it's more likely a Scotch neat. Swigged from the goddamn bottle.
