Sean Paul returns with the newest single from his album The Trinity.

A fantastic club track, Temperature hits the spot with a driving bass and brilliant rhythms that just make you want to dance. If you were looking for something original, however, you’re almost certain to be disappointed.

Modelling its chorus hook on the massive hit baby boy, this track makes sure that a listener will be able to hum the song after only one hearing – and they will probably do so all day. In other words it is classic Sean Paul. Telling the object of his song that “I got the right tactics to turn you on” the lyrics are pleasant if fairly standard fare – not exactly thought-provoking, but then again they don’t need to be with the thumping bass drawing most of the attention.

This song essentially does the job. A booty-shaking fast rhythm will almost certainly make this a dance-floor filler, even if it will be long forgotten by this time next year.

Why would you write a song that describes sexual actions in it?
