Mike Posner: 'Please Don't Go'

The last time we heard from Mike Posner, he was dishing out a few lyrical home truths to that snobby girl from high school - so the fact that it went on to be an international smash not only gives him license to feel a little smug, but it's turned him into quite the babe magnet too. All the more confusing then, that he's getting paranoid on his latest chart assault about whether his new squeeze is about to do a runner on him.

"Baby please don't go/ If I wake up to tomorrow will you still be here?" he croons over a breezy, Taio Cruz-esque beat and spaced-out synths that are about as laid back as his UK promotional schedule. The result is an electro-poppy number that musically is more chilled out than a California Gurl sipping gin 'n' juice on the beach, but lyrically begs the question: maybe this fame business ain't all it's cracked up to be?
