Jennifer Lopez ft. Lil Wayne: 'I'm Into You'

Nowadays the term 'comeback' is thrown around all too easily; used as a lazy marketing tool to propel promotion for an act's first album since, well, their previous one. That said, Jennifer Lopez's triumphant chart-topping return earlier this year with 'On The Floor', four years after a flop record and a pair of dodgy rom-coms, is a textbook case of what a proper comeback is all about.

The follow-up isn't quite as in-yer-face as its predecessor, but having recruited hitmakers-du-jour Stargate, no-nonsense singer-songwriter Taio Cruz and guest-rapper Lil Wayne, it's just as much of a no-brainer. Built around a "na-na-na" hook not too dissimilar to Rihanna's 'What's My Name?', 'I'm Into You' is a Jamaica-meets-Latin late-night summer jam that - dodgy puns about wetsuits aside - is both bang-on-trend and worryingly infectious. The result is the Pina Colada of pop songs - smooth, fruity and beautifully presented...but with a surprising amount of kick.
