If there was a contest for Mr Lothario 2011, pop crooner Bruno Mars is certainly a worthy contender. If melting the hearts of ladies worldwide with his debut hit, cementing his loyalty with the follow-up and then showing his cheeky side by letting it all hang out in his third offering wasn't enough, the quiffed maestro is keen to prove that he is also the spontaneous-yet-committed sort on his new single. Are we witnessing the emergence of the perfect man?

"Cause it's a beautiful night/ We're looking for something dumb to do/ Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you," Mars woos over a instantly hummable melody and a sing-songy chorus of double hand-claps and clanging church bells that remain in tune with his doo-wop roots. The result is a '60s-inspired jive-starter that would not only impress the Elvis impersonator in any Vegas chapel, but is cutesy enough to make him a shoo-in for cheesiest ultimate seducer of 2011.
