Chris Brown ft. Justin Bieber: 'Next To You'

When we first learnt that Chris Brown would be collaborating with Justin Bieber back in 2010, we'll admit we felt somewhat conflicted. With the former's bad boy tag still firmly attached and Justin's popularity amongst the pre-pubescent at an all time high, the duet seemed doomed from the off. That said, we never considered that just six months later one would hook up with a fellow teen star, while the other would emerge genuinely happy and re-energised on his comeback album.

Truth be told, 'Next To You' - a declaration of love and commitment - is nothing we haven't heard before; its most intriguing element continuing to be those at the helm. "Everything that I have is yours/ You will never go cold or hungry," they croon over earthy drums and lilting electronics, while Biebs promises to give up fame and fortune for his lass "'Cause you are my dream". Sweet 'n' sickly it may be, but given where the pair were six months ago, it's also surprisingly refreshing.
