Olly Murs: 'Heart Skips A Beat'

Following a successful album is a daunting prospect for any artist, let alone doing it as a former X Factor finalist with a boss who will drop you quicker than it takes the ink on your contract to dry. Given that Olly Murs's debut set sold close to the million mark, his fears of landing in the bargain bin are perhaps a little premature - but will his new single continue to keep him away from Cowell's sharpened axe?

"I don't wanna go home/ Cause when you hold me like this/ You know my heart skips, skips a beat," Murs confesses over a ska-flecked melody, reggae beats and the cheeky vocal twang that grabbed Si's attention first time out - while a skit from street-rapping duo Rizzle Kicks ensures the whole thing remains child and chart-friendly. The result is another infectious summer-pop ditty of the back garden barbecue variety - meaning his chops can rest easy... at least for now.
