Joe Jonas: 'Just In Love' - Single review

Joe Jonas has spearheaded the campaign for his new album Fast Life by labelling it as "shocking"; one that marks his ascent into manhood in which he wriggled free from the Disney playpen and went on to have a string of short-lived Hollywood flings. Judging by his latest effort, the 21-year-old remains as honest as his religious upbringing would have you believe.

That said, his bedroom walls would tell a very different story. "Love's even more wild when you're angry," he confesses over an exotic mix of snake-rattling beats and hip-shaking drums courtesy - unsurprisingly - of Justin Timberlake production whizzes The Y's. The result is the peri peri sauce of songs; spicy, addictive and with just enough of a kick to have you hot under the collar. Message received loud and clear, Joe; purity rings are so 2009.
