It's no secret that Cobra Starship's latest single has been floating around the web a fair old while. Released in the States back in May where it became a fully fledged summer anthem, it was Calvin Harris who brought the track to the attention of his Blighty-based Twitter followers by accusing it of ripping off his own hit 'I'm Not Alone'. With the synth-rock group finally giving the song an airing in the UK, are the knock-off Nigel claims really fair?
"Girl I've been all over the world/ Looking for you/ I'm known for taking what I think I deserve," frontman Gabe Saporta croons over a cocktail of distorted electronics, breezy techno synths and pulsating club beats that have more kick than a double vodka and Red Bull. In fact, the result is much like a fun-fueled night on the sauce - followed by a sore head shortly after. As for Calv, we're guessing he won't be as fussed now he's Rih-ally hit the big time.
