JLS: Take A Chance On Me
JLS have been known to rework some curious samples into their own material. The boys' 2010 hit 'The Club Is Alive' pilfered the Sound Of Music classic, while upcoming Jukebox album track reswizzles Bing Crosby's festive hit 'Can You Hear What I Hear?'. So imagine our dismay - and slight relief - when new single 'Take A Chance On Me' didn't contain that Abba vocal intro.

They've instead played it decidedly safer with their annual R&B smooch-fest; as ever released just as the daily chill kicks in. "So when you feel like trying again/ Reach out, take my hand," Aston croons over the customary boyband composition of feather-light beats and smooth piano more predictable than a Cowell-ordered X Factor judging bust-up. Like a mug of cocoa it's certain to warm your cockles, but maybe giving Benny and Björn a quick bell wouldn't have been such a bad idea after all?
