One Direction: 'Gotta Be You' - Single review

During a recent chat with Digital Spy, One Direction admitted that they were afraid of being attacked by crocodiles on the set of their Lake Placid-shot music video for their new single. Judging by the amount of seriousface in the clip, we can only assume they weren't too happy about veering so close to the water's edge; and as people who have seen the 1999 monster movie, we don't mind admitting that we'd share their concerns.

They weren't wrong either when describing their new single as "a bit more emotive than the last one, but it's not a Christmas ballad". With a full orchestra in tow they hum in classic boyband fashion with their tails between their legs, begging to be taken back by their sweethearts. "Can we fall one more time/ Stop the tape and rewind?" asks Harry, before they croon "It's gotta be you" on the catchy-as-coldsores chorus. Word of advice, guys, perhaps it's best you keep the irrational fears between yourselves next time.
