Delilah: 'Love You So' - Single review

They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression; though it's a rule that has somehow bypassed fast-rising singer Delilah. After cutting her teeth as a guest vocalist for dubstep kings Chase & Status, Magnetic Man and Skream, she managed to sidestep a life of guest appearances after demonstrating her true vocal talents on the spellbinding and critically-adored 'Go'.

Her latest effort sees the 19-year-old carving out her niche a little deeper. Teaming up with fellow one-to-watch producer Ballistiq Beats, 'Love You So' is another hypnotic offering that locks you in a trance from the off. "You know I left you lonely/ You always leave me with doubt," she confesses over pacey tribal beats with a smoky yet familiar-sounding vocal. The result is a classy pop number that transforms her from an expendable to a force in her own right.
