Jessie J: 'Domino' - Single review

"I'm feeling sexy and free/ Like glitter's raining on me," Jessie J reveals on the first line of her latest single. Given that the last 12 months have seen her top both the albums and singles charts and launch a so-far-so-good crack at America, it's hardly surprising that she's sounding more playful than a hot tub session with Frankie Cocozza and the Playboy twins.

Produced by the CEOs of global pop production Max Martin and Dr Luke and, naturally, co-penned by Jessie herself, 'Domino' is easily her glossiest outing since 'Price Tag' - packed with catchy hooks and saucy lines as she heads out for a night on the tiles. The toe-tapping guitar riff might sound dangerously similar to Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night', but if you're going to have a crack at worldwide teen pop, you may as well look to the Commander in Chief, right?
