Kelly Rowland ft. Big Sean: 'Lay It On Me' - Single review

It's easy to forget that during her time in Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland was responsible for some of the most iconic, booty-shaking R&B anthems in modern music history. Having flourished as dance music's prized diva over the past few years, it's nice to hear that K-Ro hasn't completely ditched her hip-hop roots and is willing to showcase it along with her steamier-than-ever womanly charms for her latest cut.

"I wanna just kiss you now/ I wanna just touch you now/ I wanna just give you all my love tonight," she purrs to her lucky fella with enough carnal prowess to send Gary Barlow's animated eyebrows into overdrive. "Lay it on me, put it down on me/ Put your hands on my body," she continues over a fat 'n' satisfying riff almost as alluring as the prospect of a DC reunion - but with Ms. Kelly's solo material at this calibre, we can't say we're pining for it.
