Darren Hayes 'Blood Stained Heart'
For those familiar with Darren Hayes's latest album Secret Codes And Battleships, you'll know that he's not exactly introverted when it comes to discussing his feelings about love; and anyone in doubt only need witness his recent hugathon that took place in central London. Of course, the ups and downs of relationships are no stranger to the charts, but few write about it with such unabashed devotion.

The album's latest cut 'Bloodstained Heart' is easily the best example of his pursuit for old-fashioned romanticism. "Even when you fall apart, I'll pick up your bloodstained heart," he professes over a wobbly Radio 2 rock riff, insisting that there are still plenty of couples out there who can defy the odds. If you're not convinced by the time the stadium-rousing middle 8 kicks in, then consider yourself an unwavering cynic.
