"Fast, time is ticking now so fast," Kylie Minogue confesses on the intro of her new single. Given this year sees her celebrating a quarter of a century in the biz - and successful ones at that which have seen her release 11 studio albums and countless singles - suddenly we couldn't agree with the sentiment any stronger.
In that time she has rarely strayed from the very centre of the dancefloor, so it's hardly surprisingly that 'Timebomb' feels like a gentle jog in the park for her. Better is that it pinches elements from some her recent best - a dash of 'Come Into My World' here, a sprinkling of 'Love At First Sight' there - albeit with a growlier bassline. The result, as you'd expect, is instant disco-pop perfection.
