Here at Digital Spy, one of our pet peeves is when a song finds success around the globe but fails to see a release in the UK. That said, we can hardly blame US pop duo and engaged couple Karmin for being weary of the British public, who have been scorned all-too-often in the past by pairings such as Same Difference, Ant & Dec and, lest we forget, Jedward.
In fact, by today's modern pop standards, few come out so perfectly formed as 'Brokenhearted'. Yes, the electro guitars have a whiff of Jessie J's 'Domino', singer Amy Heidemann's vocals are giving us Katy Perry vibes and her sing-speak sections put us in mind of Ke$ha, but when smashed together, the result is utterly irresistible.
