Like Florence and her Machine and Marina's Diamonds, British producer Naughty Boy could be considered the invisible force behind Emeli Sandé. The musician - aka Shahid Khan - helped create a substantial chunk of the Scot's debut album Our Version of Events, so it was only a matter of time before the Watford native emerged from the shadows to release his own project as a lead artist.
Naturally, Sandé has repaid the favour on 'Wonder', which continues the pair's penchant for an R&B-gospel jam. "If your heart turns blue, I want you to remember/ This song is for you, and you are full of wonder," the Brit winner assures over NB's majestic, hymnal composition of choir-backed piano and breezy beats. The result is naff on paper, but brilliantly uplifting in reality.
