Olly Murs ft. Flo Rida: 'Troublemaker' - Single review

Truth be told, when Olly Murs first announced details of his new single, we were filled with trepidation. After having huge success with his first two records, shifting his focus to America for album number three seemed like a perfectly natural and acceptable move - but is teaming up with Flo Rida really the best way to go about it?

Fortunately, Murs has got more than enough clout to remain the star of the show. "Troublemaker yeah that's your middle name/ I know you're no good but you're stuck in my brain," he confesses over parping brass and a toe-tapping, '50s swinging melody. Flo's contribution is a typically confusing one ("Typical middle name is Prada/ Fit you like a glove girl/ I'm sick of the drama"), but if it makes Olly a hit across the pond, we suppose we can let it slide.
