That said, it seems Carly has even bigger problems on her mind. "This kiss is something I can't resist/ Your lips are undeniable," Carly tells a cute boy. The catch is, of course, she has a boyfriend and he already has a better half. A jump-along '80s synth line and catchy chorus make it one of the most sugary toying-with-adultery anthems ever, which confuses us somewhat. What's more concerning though, is that crawling out of 'Call Me Maybe's shadow is going to be a tough feat - but one it thoroughly deserves to conquer.
