However many misdemeanours Amy Winehouse racks up - cancelling a gig due to "unforeseen circumstances" after she's been spotted in the booze aisle of Tesco Metro that morning, slurring her way through a Michael Jackson song on The Charlotte Church Show, telling Bono to "shut up" because she doesn't "give a f**k" - her popularity only seems to skyrocket. Her Back To Black album is approaching a million sales in the UK and recently cracked the US top ten.
Its title track is a Spectorian epic boasting an end-of-the-affair lyric, melodramatic strings and an utterly compelling vocal from the best advert for beehive hairdos since Dusty Springfield. Yes, she seems heartbreakingly self-destructive, but Amy Winehouse has talent to burn. Is it any wonder we're all so fascinated?

I love Amy Winehouse, despite everyone giving her a hard time! I think she has so much talent, and I love her voice. The album is amazing and this single has to be my favourite single from the album.
