Hanson are so defined by their enormo-hit 'Mmm Bop' - a song so irrepressibly perky that even Fearne "I'm a rock chick, me!" Cotton likes it - that everything they've released since is fighting a losing battle for our attention. Remember their last single 'Lost With Each Other', a number 39 hit in 2005? Nah, we don't either.
New single 'Go' is a strident power ballad that's just begging to be played over a break-up scene in a Mandy Moore movie. Zac Hanson's full-bodied vocal is surprisingly convincing, but something tells us that this tune lacks the "ba dubi dop ba do bops" necessary to add to Hanson's legacy.
